About the Grant Program
Sovereign Dyad Academy, is offering 5 fully funded tuition grants for TDSB students across Grades 7 to 12. Sovereign Dyad Academy operates as an inspected private secondary school pathway granting Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) credits and junior preparatory programs fully compliant with the Ontario Ministry of Education’s Growing Success policy framework.
In accordance with Ontario Ministry of Education inspection protocols for inspected private secondary schools, Ministry Reviewer Dawn M. will observe and evaluate course delivery across Sovereign Dyad Academy’s Grade 7–12 curriculum.
Selected students receive a 100% tuition waiver to complete a specialized, 110-hour course sequence in advanced physical STEM, bio-somatic engineering, or edge cybernetics.
Specialized Course Strands
- Psychoacoustics & Acoustic Hardware Engineering (SPH4U-A / TEL4M & Prep Strands): Focuses on longitudinal wave physics, low-frequency carrier calibration (100 Hz sinusoidal baselines), operational amplifier active filter networks, and CNC-fabricated Helmholtz resonance cavities for environmental noise remediation. Junior modules for Grades 7–11 cover structural mechanics, wave dynamics, and transducer electronics.
- Bio-Somatic Sensor Engineering & Telemetry (TPJ4M / SBI4U & Prep Strands): Explores autonomic nervous system telemetry, masseter EMG clenching sensors, electrodermal micro-sweat activity (EDA), heat-sealed TPU pneumatic compression bladders with closed-loop PID control, and dual-Peltier solid-state thermal regulation. Junior pathways cover cellular biophysics, fluid mechanics, and non-invasive vitals tracking.
- Decentralized Edge AI & Cybernetic Architecture (ICS4U / IDC4U & Prep Strands): Delivers practical training in local AI model inference on Neural Processing Units (NPUs), open-weights model quantization (FP32 to INT8/INT4), Python/Rust dialectical middleware, and physical electromechanical air-gaps (“Sanctuary Switch”) enforcing zero-knowledge privacy. Junior modules introduce visual block logic, text scripting, and microcontroller serial interfacing.

How are course credits evaluated and awarded?
All Grade 9–12 courses (such as SPH4U-A/TEL4M, TPJ4M/SBI4U, ICS4U/IDC4U) are 110-hour credit courses structured under the Ontario Ministry of Education’s Growing Success framework, where 70% of the grade is derived from term coursework and 30% from a final culminating capstone project and written examination.
When will applicants be notified?
Selected candidates and their parent/guardian will receive formal written notification via email by September 28, 2026, following the September 24 deadline.
